The Golf Guy Behind the Golf Guide

My name is Jason Griffin. I am the golf guy behind the Guide to Golf Equipment. I have been playing golf since I was in elementary school. Those were the days. When I lived just a short walk from the Vista Valencia Golf Course. They have a little par 3 golf course called Chica and had a fine junior golf program. I have the old trophies to prove it. I played on and off up through high school. I stopped playing for a while and really got back into golfing a few years ago. I now live in the Seattle Washington Area up in the Great Northwest, where we have some beautiful golf courses. I try to get out and play them as often as I can. Why I Created this Golf Guide

I have searched the web and found many golf websites. Some are really good and some really bad. What I found mostly are sites that have little information and a lot of advertisements. I decided to try my hand at creating a golfers guide, the Guide to Golf Equipment, a site to provide you with actual information that will help you with your search for the best golf equipment. Like choosing a golf ball or what to look for when buying used golf clubs, I hope to provide you with the information you need to make the right choices for your golf game. I want to be your golf guide. The place you go when you are looking for information on gear and equipment used for golf.

My Favorite Local Golf Websites

  • CyberGolf Washington - Local golf info, news and links to deals and coupons for area golf courses.
  • SeattleGolfGuide - Listing of golf courses in the Seattle area including course layouts and contact information.

My Other Websites

  • eWooing - Musings, tips and the occasional rant from the world of online dating.
  • TVaholic - The first step is admitting that you have a… Oh Wait! The commercials are over.

My Favorite Golf Guide Books

  • Dave Pelz's Short Game Bible - The tips and techniques in this golf book definitely improved my play from a 100yds in.
  • Dave Pelz's Putting Bible - If you like stats and studies as evidence as to why you should putt a certain way then this is the golf book for you.
